๐ Adult Education Week may be ending, but the work continues!
This week, we celebrated our learners, instructors, staff, and the progress happening every day at SBLC.
Now, weโre celebrating the people who help make it possible โ our donors, volunteers, partners, board members, and supporters.
You can help adult learners keep moving forward by sharing our mission, volunteering, partnering with us, or making a gift.

A learner returning after a hard week.
A graduate crossing the stage.
Every step forward matters. ๐

๐ Meet Sharma, SBLC Instructor.
Adult education is about more than lessons and tests. Itโs about helping learners see whatโs possible.
As Sharma shares:
โOur adult learners are not defined by the circumstances that interrupted their education. They are defined by what they choose to do next.โ
Today, we celebrate the instructors who teach, encourage, and invest in our learners every day. ๐

๐ Adult Education Week starts with the reason we do this work: OUR LEARNERS!
Every learner who comes to SBLC brings a different story, goal, and reason for returning to education.
For some, itโs earning a GED. For others, itโs preparing for a career, building confidence, or creating a new path forward.
This week, weโre celebrating the people who make adult education matter.
