The G.R.O.W Program

We have several programs to help youth develop in the areas of life skills, character building, workforce development, fitness & emotional wellness. The COVID-19 Pandemic has caused new challenges for communities that's already under served. In efforts to create solutions we leveraged our resources to help young people thrive in today's new normal. We created "Cashapp Classroom" which is a virtual mentoring course where participants learn from the safety of their home. As they watch the instructor live on social media and Zoom they are able to interact in the chats. When they answer questions correctly they receive monetary incentives through Cashapp in real time. Since there are a lot of schools closed and many of the young people in our communities relied on school for a daily meal, we provide lunch for them and deliver it to their home to fill that void. In efforts to continue to organize interesting events for the community with safety in mind, we partnered with The AIM Foundation and planned the "Distance Learning Giveaway". This will be a drive by resource fair where parents will be able to drive through the parking lot of The G.R.O.W. There will be laptop giveaways, gift card raffles, Free school supplies/ book bag giveaways, wireless headphone giveaways and more! The goal is to inspire the community in a tragic time and to motivate young people to continue striving for their goals.
