Since 2022, The Network has engaged more than 7,000 people, with our Connector initiative alone supporting nearly 2,500 individuals and families in finding meaningful ways to connect with Jewish life, one relationship at a time.

Now we’re building on that success with the Peer Engagement Fellowship. Our five Fellows bring shared lived experience and a deep understanding of the communities they serve, helping people find support, resources, Jewish experiences and a stronger sense of belonging.

This is the next step in The Network’s commitment to meeting people where they are and creating welcoming pathways into Jewish life.

As we welcomed the Jewish New Year, it was wonderful to celebrate together at the Tashlich Festival in Druid Hill Park. 🍎🍯

Hosted by Third Space at Shaarei Tfiloh, this warm and welcoming event brought together families and community members of all ages for a meaningful afternoon of connection and reflection. We loved meeting so many people at the Jewish Connection Network table, sharing apple c***r and information about our programs.

Thanks to the generosity of The Center of Dentistry, we received a donation of 1,200 toothbrushes that will be packed into our winter care kits for people experiencing homelessness.

A special shoutout to our amazing volunteer Stephanie Blockston, who helped make this donation possible. We are so grateful for volunteers like Stephanie who connect our community with resources that make a real difference.

During Mitzvah Month in December, these toothbrushes will become part of more than 2,000 winter care kits distributed throughout Baltimore County and Baltimore City. Everyone deserves access to basic necessities, and these kits are available to people in need, regardless of their faith or background.

It takes a community to care for a community.

For Nissa Weinberg at Krieger Schechter Day School (KSDS), having Jenna Lessans as the school’s Partner Connector has made a meaningful difference for both the school community and families exploring whether KSDS is right for them.

Through relationships, outreach, and a warm welcome, Jenna is helping families feel informed, connected, and part of the community from day one.

That’s the power of connection.

For Lisa Radov, a love of Israel, animals, and making a difference are all connected. 🐾🇮🇱

Through The Network’s Israel programs, Lisa found community and new friendships, while her lifelong love of animals grew into a passion for advocacy and tikkun olam.

Her story is a reminder that finding your place can start with what already matters to you.

Jewish Community in Baltimore: Meet Lisa Radov Jewish community in Baltimore comes to life through Lisa Radov’s love of Israel, animal advocacy and meaningful connection.

This past Sunday, families gathered at Baugher’s Orchards for one of our favorite Rosh Hashanah traditions: apple picking! From tractor rides and fresh-picked apples to spending time with friends old and new, it was a beautiful way to welcome the season together.

As we head into Rosh Hashanah, we’re wishing you and your loved ones a sweet, meaningful, and joyful new year.

👋 Meet Morgan, pictured far right, The Network’s new LGBTQ+ Parent Connector!

Originally from Phoenix, Morgan recently made Maryland home with her wife, daughter, and their five cats. 🐱

With a background in culinary arts and nutrition, Morgan now puts her experience to work as a lactation consultant. She’s excited to help LGBTQ+ parents and families find connection, community, and a sense of belonging here in Baltimore and beyond.

📚 FUN FACT: Morgan is also a published author! She released a fantasy novel in August 2025 and is a proud member of the Maryland Writers’ Association.
