Listen, the work we do at PIVOT isn’t always easy. Our days can be busy, emotional, challenging, and unpredictable—so whenever we get a chance to laugh together, we take it!
We work hard. We make an impact. And apparently… we’re people of VERY few words.

PIVOT hit a home run with an unforgettable night at Oriole Park !
Our youth had the opportunity to step away from everyday challenges, create lasting memories, and simply enjoy being kids. From cheering on the Baltimore Orioles to sharing laughs, snacks, and smiles, this evening was about more than baseball….it was about connection, community, and creating positive experiences that inspire hope for the future.
At PIVOT, we believe every young person deserves opportunities to dream, grow, and experience the joy of belonging. Thank you to everyone who helped make this night possible. Together, we’re building brighter futures one experience at a time.

What if Baltimore became the first city in the United States to officially recognize Post-Incarceration Syndrome?
Post-Incarceration Syndrome (PICS) is a term used to describe the emotional, psychological, social, and behavioral challenges that some people experience after being released from jail or prison.
We need volunteers to attend, support, and testify at the public hearing on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Your presence can help bring awareness to the lasting effects incarceration has on individuals, families, and communities—and move us one step closer to meaningful change.
Whether you have lived experience, work in reentry, advocate for justice, or simply believe in second chances, your voice matters.

The work of reentry isn’t easy. Every day, the PIVOT team shows up with compassion, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to helping women rewrite their stories. The passion our staff brings fuels the movement within our organization, and that dedication is reflected in the growth, healing, and accomplishments of every participant who becomes a proud PIVOT alumna.
This Wellness Day was a reminder that those who serve deserve to be served, too.
A heartfelt thank you to PIVOT’s Executive Team for intentionally creating space for our staff to pause, breathe, and recharge. From breathing and mindfulness exercises to an inspiring JOY Workshop and a creative 3D Pen Art session, every moment was an investment in the people who make this mission possible.
