Calvert School is an independent lower and middle school with a curriculum that is designed to challenge students and inspire lifelong learning.

A Calvert School education is a balance of tradition and innovation. Whether it's greeting the Head Master with a strong handshake each morning or compiling their best works in portfolios, students are taught the Calvert Way. More than anything else, the Calvert legacy is one of academic excellence that fosters a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.

It was a sweet day at Kiddie Calvert Tuscany with dads and special friends visiting for Donuts with Dad! 🍩 Students and their loved ones had the opportunity to make memories while playing and reading together, enjoying tasty treats, and making crafts.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day so special!

What better way to start the fall season than by tasting apples? 🍎 Last week, our Fifth Age students taste-tested different kinds of apples, learning about each variety and noting the different flavors and colors.

Is there anything sweeter than a scoop of ice cream to celebrate the tenth day of school? 🍦 Our Fifth Age students created these ice cream cones on the first day of school, adding a new scoop each day until completing them yesterday, the tenth day of school.

They also enjoyed a sweet ice cream treat at lunch. What a fun way to celebrate all they’ve accomplished in their first ten days!

On Friday last week, our Lower School students and teachers came together to celebrate a wonderful start to the school year! πŸ’›

Lower School Head Mrs. Heller welcomed students, Ms. Florian led everyone in song, and Mr. Solee and Mrs. Whitman guided a reflection on the Calvert Pillars: respect, responsibility, compassion, and honor.

The community also celebrated the start of the fall sports season with a football-themed dress down day! 🏈🐝

What better way to begin a new school year than together?πŸŽ‰ This morning, our entire community gathered in the Luetkemeyer Athletic Center to celebrate the year ahead. Mr. Holmgren, Mrs. Heller, Mr. Buck, and Ms. Crowley welcomed students with words of encouragement, while our Eighth Graders continued the tradition of helping to lead Fifth Age friends across campus.

It was a wonderful reminder of the connections that make the Calvert community so special. Here’s to an incredible year of learning, growth, and plenty of Mighty Bee spirit!πŸ’›πŸ
