Designing kitchens, bathrooms, and more in the Baltimore area.
Happy Friday! A little behind-the-scenes action in Upperco, MD. Every project has a hiccup or two, but a good team knows how to keep things moving. 🙌
Functional doesn't mean boring 🥱
The best kitchens are designed to work beautifully for everyday life without sacrificing the details that make you love the space!

This stunning kitchen has all the works: custom bar, hidden storage, open shelving, and textured glass. It's ready for everything from your morning espresso to your evening cocktail. 🙌
When it comes to your dream kitchen, are you going bold or staying neutral?
Custom cabinetry: Showplace Cabinets
Riveka is back with an update on our Baltimore project as promised 😊 it's normal to hit small bumps along the way but we pivot, we adapt, and we deliver stunning results everytime ✨
Walnut vanity and exposed brick? YES PLEASE 🤩
One of the best parts about renovating Baltimore homes is working with the character that’s already there. We love blending timeless charm with fresh, functional design to create a spaces that feel like home.
What home project is next on your to-do list? ✅

Not all beautiful stone belongs in your home.
Every slab in this carousel is showstopping.
But only one might be the right one for your project.
That’s where we come in.
Anyone can walk through a stone yard and fall in love with a slab. The hard part is knowing how it will look once it’s paired with your cabinetry, flooring, hardware, lighting, and the rest of your home.
That’s what we help our clients do every day.
We don’t just sell cabinets.
We help source the right materials, bring them together, and create a space that feels intentional from every angle.
Because the most unforgettable kitchens aren’t built around one beautiful product.
They’re built around products that belong together.
👇 Which slab would you choose?
1️⃣ Emerald Green
2️⃣ Warm Gold
3️⃣ White & Charcoal
4️⃣ Dramatic Black
Quick project update from Riveka! We're breathing new life into this Baltimore home with a full bathroom renovation and a facelift for the kitchen. No upgrade is too big or too small 😉
What's one feature you've always wanted to add to your home?
“What cabinet line do you use?”
It’s one of the questions we get asked most.
The answer?
Whichever one makes the most sense for your home.
In this project, we’re bringing together:
✨ A Showplace kitchen
🛁 A Fabuwood primary bathroom
🚪 A Mountaineer powder room
Every cabinet manufacturer has its own strengths. Rather than forcing one brand into every room, we help our clients choose the best fit for each space while making sure the entire home feels cohesive.
That’s what we do. We design, coordinate, and orchestrate every detail so you don’t have to.

📦 Well… they’re not just boxes anymore. 🔨
Cabinet installation is underway, and this project is starting to look like all the planning actually paid off.
We’ve got a full kitchen, bathrooms, and a powder room coming together, with matte black cabinetry, reeded doors, and plenty of texture. It’s one of those projects that keeps getting better every time we walk through it.
A quick reminder: you don’t have to use our contractor. Already have one you trust? Great. Want to work with one of our preferred contractors? Also great. We work with both. Our job is to make sure the design comes together the way it’s supposed to.
Hopefully I’ll be back Friday to see how much more progress they’ve made… assuming nobody changes their mind halfway through. 😏

Behind every great kitchen is a team that’s committed to never stopping the learning process.
This week, Idan and Rivka attended an industry event to connect with other professionals, discover new products, and stay current on the ideas shaping kitchen design.
We believe our clients deserve more than great craftsmanship. They deserve a team that invests in education, relationships, and continuous improvement so we can bring the best solutions to every project.
These opportunities remind us why we love what we do. Every conversation and every new idea helps us serve our clients even better.
Thank you to everyone who continues to trust Kitchen Design by Idan with your homes. We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to bringing these new ideas into future projects.
