We’re so thrilled to share final photos of this very special mural project in Glenmont Local Park. We based the mural design directly on input from community members, who wanted so see a cool-toned color palette, Maryland flora and fauna, and a celebration of the area’s diversity, multiculturalism, and latin American heritage.

The completed mural features a torogoz (turquoise browed motmot), a resplendent quetzal, a monarch butterfly, dahlias, a black-eyed Susan, and a cone flower, as well as a silhouetted flor de izote.

If you’re in the area, Montgomery Parks is hosting a mural celebration tomorrow—Saturday, December 6th from 1–3pm. We’d love to see you there and celebrate this project together. More details are in the link in our bio!

It’s always such a treat to get to paint in Baltimore, and it was a real honor to create artwork for such a local landmark - they’ve been open since 1948! Thanks for having us ! ❤️❤️
