Tensile Structure Systems is a boutique firm specializing in the design of custom tensile fabric structures, roof systems and shade sails. Whether it be a sports facility, amphitheater or transportation hub we are dedicated to providing the highest quality, cost effective products with a customer service experience second to none.
Fall is the best time to walk the Harbor Wetland at the National Aquarium.
Cooler temps make for an easy stroll along the floating docks. The marsh grasses are turning gold. And the wetland is still drawing in local wildlife like blue crabs and black-crowned night herons.
It's free, it's outdoors, and it's right on the Inner Harbor between Piers 3 and 4. Ten thousand square feet of re-created salt marsh, planted with 32,000 native grasses and shrubs that help clean the harbor.
We're proud our tensile shade structures are part of it. Go see it before the weather turns.

We helped The Corners reimagine Market Square with this tensile shade structure, designed to bring the community together for large video presentations of sport and entertainment events.
The curved frame carries the load at the perimeter, so the space underneath stays open and sightlines to the screen stay clear from every seat. Shade during the day, cover when the weather turns.

Progress in motion. Craftsmanship and coordination behind every tensile structure we build.
Watch as Tensile Structure Systems designs, engineers, fabricates and installs a custom tensile structure on the rooftop of a 5-story parking deck at Jack's Urban Meeting Place (JUMP) in Boise. Two years of planning, over 375,000 lbs of structural steel, and a one of a kind anchoring system to transfer the loads into the existing deck. The result is an instant landmark standing 100' above street level.
