When you're facing cancer treatment, having a place that feels safe, comfortable, and welcoming can make all the difference.

We were honored to partner with the American Cancer Society, alongside JP2 Architects, to help furnish the new Hope Lodge in Baltimore—a home away from home for patients and their caregivers traveling from across the country for treatment.

Designed to feel more like a warm hotel or home than a healthcare facility, the space features inviting guest suites, comfortable gathering areas, and thoughtfully selected furnishings that help create moments of comfort during an incredibly difficult time.

We're especially proud to have played a small part in the next chapter of this building's story. After previously partnering on both the original and new Ronald McDonald House locations, it was meaningful to help transform this space once again—this time into a place centered on hope, healing, and community.

Congratulations to everyone who helped bring this important project to life.

The best compliment isn't about the furniture.

One sentence from our partners at WPA says everything.

"They really know what we want."

Years of collaboration create something that can't be specified in a drawing set—trust.

Assembly is a project we're incredibly proud of, but we're even more proud of the partnership behind it.

Because great spaces start with great relationships.

What does employee ownership really mean?

For us, it means showing up differently—for each other, for our clients, and for our communities.

In this 30 Seconds of Impact, our CFO, Patrick Shea, shares why being employee-owned creates a culture of accountability, pride, and purpose that extends far beyond our walls.

Because when everyone has a stake in success, every interaction matters.

What does ownership mean to you? Share your thoughts below.

Great partnerships are about more than great products—they're about shared purpose.

We're proud to partner with MillerKnoll, whose recent recognitions as one of the nation's most community-minded companies and one of TIME's America's Best Companies 2026 reflect values we care deeply about: investing in people, strengthening communities, and creating lasting impact.

Those same principles guide our own Making Our Impact efforts every day. Here's to working alongside partners who believe great design can help create a better future—for our clients, our communities, and one another.

Good spaces bring people together.

Yes, we love any excuse to gather over great food (our team would definitely agree with that ), but what we love even more is opening our showrooms to our clients, partners, nonprofits, and community organizations.

Whether it's a lunch & learn, networking event, volunteer planning session, or industry gathering, we believe our spaces should be places where ideas are shared, relationships are built, and our community grows stronger.

Our doors are always open.

Last week, we welcomed interns from OTJ Architects to our DC showroom for an immersive look at the world of workplace design.

A special thank you to Melanie Robins for leading the tour and sharing her expertise on MillerKnoll products, materials, finishes, and the thoughtful details that shape exceptional spaces. From functionality to aesthetics, every conversation reinforced how intentional design can influence the way people work, connect, and experience a space.

We always value opportunities to invest in the next generation of designers and industry professionals through hands-on learning and collaboration.

Behind every great workplace is a deeper strategy.

Our recent work with a confidential professional services firm focused on creating an environment that supports the way people work today — balancing collaboration, focus, flexibility, and employee experience throughout the space.

As organizations continue evolving their workplace strategies, we’re seeing a growing demand for spaces that feel more intentional, adaptable, and human-centered. Environments that not only support productivity, but also reinforce culture and connection.

We’re proud to have partnered with the project team to help bring that vision to life.

This Independence Day, we’re celebrating the people behind the work.

As a 100% employee-owned company, every space we help create reflects the care, accountability, and passion of our team. We’re proud to build environments where people can work, live, and stay — and even prouder of the employee-owners who make it happen.

Wishing you a happy and safe holiday weekend from all of us at MOI.

Big impact can start in just 30 seconds.

In the latest edition of our “30 Seconds of Impact” series, MOI President & CEO David Corsones shares what impact means to him — and why creating spaces that support people, community, and connection matters.

At MOI, impact goes beyond the workplace. It’s about how we show up for our clients, our employee-owners, and the communities where we live and work.

Last week, we had the opportunity to support our partners at Business Volunteers as they presented at the Points of Light Conference — a conference dedicated to social impact, civic engagement, and the power of service.

The evening wrapped up reconnecting with Business Volunteers friends and fellow GIVE Alumni during a networking happy hour filled with meaningful conversations and shared purpose.

We're grateful to be part of a community that believes businesses can make a real impact beyond the workplace.
