World Pet Memorial Day, June 9th. So many have been lost, some even before they had an official home. But they had a name, and they were loved.. I hope they knew I was their home, because they are forever a part of me … paw prints left forever in my heart. A previous MAS Rescued pup who was loved since she was adopted, and treasured until her very last breath. Her memorial:

Our beloved Deena, who would have turned 13 on July 2, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge 🌈 yesterday. We are so grateful for Dr. Gene Bauer and Vet Tech Alix of Bay Country Veterinary Hospital who provided gentle, compassionate end of life care for Deena. She's been a big part of our lives for over ten years, and Dr. Bauer has been with us on our entire journey. We will miss her forever, but feel blessed knowing she is at peace. Now Tom and I are a family of two again. Losing Deena was especially hard as we're not planning on getting any more dogs. Run free now, my precious love, our best friend, and goodest Girl! I'd like to think St. Francis, Patron Saint of Animals, was there to welcome you with open arms to Heaven 🐾💙
