A big Rezzy salute to our friend Jackie (pictured here), who brought her dazzling hooping skills to RED ROCKS during a recent String Cheese Incident show!!

Eclectic Colorado jam outfit The String Cheese Incident returned to Red Rocks Amphitheatre over the weekend for its 57th and 58th career performances on the storied stage. The five sets the group performed over two nights at Red Rocks offered home-state fans both new and old a mix of classic tunes, new entries, and thoughtfully curated covers from across the band’s 30-plus-year repertoire, plus a vibrant display fanbase symbiosis by way of a hula hoop spectacle on the final night.

As the sun began its descent behind the horizon and The String Cheese Incident strolled onstage, guitarist Bill Nershi couldn’t contain his excitement: “Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah,” he chanted, “we’re gonna have a good time!”

Between songs, bassist and songwriter Keith Moseley beamed with appreciation for the community that’s grown up around the band over the years: “That’s the thing I am the most proud of, is the community here. You guys are the best.”

Prior to the 2026 Red Rocks run, The String Cheese Incident had invited its hula hoop-spinning fans to submit videos of themselves in action for a chance to win tickets to the shows. When the band moved into “‘Round the Wheel” during set three, those LED-adorned hoopers took the stage, too, adding kaleidoscopic visuals to the joyful sing-along.

From the bottom of our Rezzy hearts, we are grateful for each and every person who came out Friday night to see us play one last show at The 8x10. We hope you had as much fun as we did! It was a real treat for us to get together and play this music again. Thank you Brian and Abigail for being stewards of the Baltimore music scene and letting us play the club one more time, and much love to our dudes in Infinite Drift and Deaf Scene for rockin’ with us! Until we meet again ….
