Thank you to our wonderful group of student volunteers from Johns Hopkins University, who helped us plant trees at a community lot on Ellsworth St. yesterday afternoon. They’re growing their education while helping our community grow! 🌳

Through his riveting presentation, Richard Bell of the University of Maryland, College Park, will explore the American Revolution as a world war that unleashed chaos, opportunity, and transformation across six continents.

Richard Bell, Professor of History, is the author of the book, Stolen: Five Free Boys Kidnapped into Slavery and their Astonishing Odyssey Home. The American Revolution and the Fate of the Worldwon the Journal of the American Revolution Book of the Year Award. There will be book sales and signing at this event.
