A new American Cancer Society Hope Lodge has opened in Baltimore, providing free lodging for cancer patients and their caregivers traveling for treatment.
The reimagined facility on 636 W. Lexington Street offers 34 guest rooms, a 30% increase in capacity from the previous Hope Lodge, helping reduce the financial and logistical burdens many families face during cancer treatment.
Located near some of Baltimore's world-class cancer treatment facilities, the new Hope Lodge features shared kitchens, lounges, quiet spaces, a fitness center, meditation room and outdoor gardens, all designed to support guests during their cancer journey.
The Hope Lodge welcomed its first guests this month, just in time for Cancer Survivor Month.
