Park Heights Renaissance
Park Heights is in Northwest Baltimore (MD) and boasts 12 distinct neighborhoods.
Incorporated in November 2007, Park Heights Renaissance (PHR) is a non-profit 501c3 organization representing residents, businesses, religious institutions, schools, agencies and other stakeholders committed to shaping a better future for Park Heights. The Park Heights community is the home of Sinai Hospital, the community’s largest employer and one of the State of Maryland’s most well-known landmarks and Pimlico Racetrack — famous for the internationally known “Preakness” on the northern perimeter and just outside of the historic district of Park Circle lies Druid Hill Park, Baltimore’s first and largest municipal park and home to the Maryland Zoo (the third oldest zoo in the Country) on the southern perimeter. Birthed from the Pimlico Community Development Authority (PCDA), PHR is the “on the ground” organization responsible for ensuring that objectives within Baltimore City’s Park Heights Master Plan are implemented.

What if the thing standing between your organization and the next level…
isn’t the work?
It’s the gap.
The program is working.
People are showing up.
You’ve built trust.
You’ve created impact.
But you still need more.
More funding.
More partners.
More capacity.
More visibility.
More resources to grow
what’s already working.
That’s exactly why Park Heights Renaissance is gathering information from organizations serving the Park Heights community.
We want to understand what you’re doing now and what it would take to help you do more.
Go directly to Bit.ly/InvestFY28 to download and complete the form. Make sure you send it to [email protected]
This is not an application for funding.
It is an opportunity to make your work visible within a broader community development strategy.
If your organization serves Park Heights, complete the FY28 Community Investment Planning form by October 1, 2026.
Your work may already be creating impact.
Now let’s understand what could help take it further.

🗣️💚 Building a safer Park Heights, together!
In place of our September Community Meeting, Park Heights Renaissance partnered with MONSE and We Our Us for a Comprehensive Violence Prevention Plan Listening Session at Park Heights Academy. We are always better, together!
Community members learned about current public safety efforts, then joined breakout rooms for smaller, focused conversations all in efforts to build a comprehensive violence prevention plan shaped by resident voice.
Make sure to follow MONSE, WeOurUs, and PHR for updates on the finalized plan and more ways to stay engaged.
Thank you to our partners and everyone who showed up and contributed to the conversation. This is collective impact in action — bringing residents, organizations, and public leaders together to build solutions.

And the application deadline has been extended to September 18.
If your organization is doing meaningful work in Park Heights or designated surrounding areas, this opportunity deserves your attention.
Your next program could be waiting on the funding to launch.
That community space you want to improve?
The services your neighbors keep asking for?
The project your team knows could make a difference?
This may be the opportunity to move it forward.
The Pimlico Local Impact Aid FY28 Funding Opportunity is now accepting applications from eligible tax-exempt organizations.
Funding is available for qualifying program and capital projects serving Park Heights and designated areas of Northwest Baltimore.
That means local nonprofits may have an opportunity to secure resources for work that directly benefits the community.
But don’t wait until the last minute.
The extended deadline is September 18.
Here’s what to do now:
✅ Review the eligibility requirements.
✅ Read the funding guidelines carefully.
✅ Confirm that your project serves an eligible geographic area.
✅ Gather your organization and project information.
✅ Attend an information session if you need additional guidance.
✅ Start your application before deadline day.
And if you know a nonprofit leader, community organization, or neighborhood partner who should see this…
Send them this post.
The right share could connect a local organization with funding that helps bring an important project to life.
