PJ Library Baltimore

From playing and singing to tractor rides, filling bags with apples, and connecting with old and new friends, this past Sunday morning was a wonderful reminder of what Jewish Connection Network, PJ Library Baltimore, Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Greater Baltimore, and The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore are all about: bringing families together, creating meaningful Jewish moments, and building connections that extend far beyond a single event. 💛

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning so special, and to our wonderful partners at the JCC for celebrating with us!

As we head into Rosh Hashanah, we want to wish all of our PJ Library families a sweet, happy, healthy, and meaningful New Year!

Bubbles + breakfast for dinner + Shabbat = a pretty great way to say goodbye to summer. 🫧🥞✨

We had so much fun gathering at the Oregon Ridge Lake Pavilion for our End of Summer BUBBLE Family Shabbat with our friends at the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Greater Baltimore!

We enjoyed breakfast favorites, welcomed Shabbat together, and were wowed by an incredible bubble show from Jon Jensen. The evening was filled with smiles, connection, and plenty of bubble magic.

A special shout-out to our Hunt Valley/Sparks Parent Connector, Staci Weber, who helped us create such a fun and welcoming evening for local families! Thanks to everyone who joined us and made this end-of-summer celebration one to remember.

PJ Library and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation team are sad to learn of the passing of musician, philanthropist, and American legend Dolly Parton. Dolly's Imagination Library helped inspire Harold Grinspoon to found PJ Library in 2005.

When Harold had the privilege of chatting with Dolly in 2023, she shared the following with him: "I am honored to get to help inspire a love of reading in children. They truly are our future."

Harold remembers Dolly as "a truly amazing person--not only a great artist, but a great entrepreneur and philanthropist. We honor Dolly for educating millions, for her remarkable career, her kindness, her art, and especially her generosity."

🍎 Apple picking + Rosh Hashanah = a pretty sweet way to welcome the New Year!🍯

Join the Jewish Connection Network's PJ Library Team and the Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Greater Baltimore for an intergenerational morning at Baugher’s Orchards and Farms.

We’ll pick apples, ride the tractor out to the orchard, hear the shofar and sing Rosh Hashanah favorites with professional song leader, Brian Singer. Plus, there’ll be plenty of time to play, snack and connect with friends old and new.

$25 per family includes:
