Sears’ work moves through imaginary landscapes, other-dimensional societies, childhood memories, favorite films and TV shows, and the streets of Waynesboro, PA. The result is a strange, tender, and transportive world that asks what happens when memory, fantasy, sleep, and reality start talking to each other.

Outside the immersive space, visitors are invited to read, draw, or write as a way to gather their thoughts and re-center before returning to the present.

Come hear from the Baltimore-based visual animation and scenic artist behind the installation, and spend an evening inside the worlds he built.

The Amazing Acro-Cats

As seen on Netflix, this troupe of trained house cats, all former orphans, rescues, and strays, brings a 90-minute purrformance packed with feline feats, questionable obedience, and extremely earned applause.

We’re talking cats riding skateboards, jumping through hoops, showing off agility tricks, and occasionally reminding everyone that cats will do what cats want, when cats want.
