Baltimore Center Stage is now accepting applications for YPF residencies for the 2026/27 school year. A trained BCS teaching artist will work with students in your classroom to develop original short plays and poems inspired by this year’s theme:

“An Unlikely Teacher: Teaching and Learning from Our Communities”

Students will have the opportunity to submit their work to the annual Young Playwrights Festival, with winning pieces professionally produced and performed onstage at Baltimore Center Stage.

Youth groups and organizations are encouraged to apply!

This fall, Baltimore Center Stage invites Indigenous artists to submit work for consideration for our Indigenous Art Gallery. We’re expanding the art throughout our spaces to reflect the artists, cultures, histories, and communities that make Baltimore what it is. If you’re an Indigenous artist—or know one whose work belongs here—we want to hear from you.

Our Box Office will be open as normal Tuesday through Friday 12-5pm this week.
