We talked about this at our September General Meeting. The Overlea Farmers Market is this Saturday and they will have amazing volunteers on site to help!

Did you know you can use your SNAP and Farmers Market Nutrition Program (both WIC and Senior) benefits at the farmers market? In addition, we have a matching program through Maryland Market Money to help make your dollar spread a little further.

Experiencing food insecurity but waiting for your benefits to kick in. Or, maybe you don't qualify for the government programs but are still struggling to make the meet. We also partner with Breadcoin to make sure that we can meet those needs too. This funding is limited each market, but all you have to do is ask and we will give it if we have it.

One of the goals of the Overlea Farmers Market is to bring locally grown and made foods to EVERYONE in our neighborhood. Please reach out if you have any questions about how these programs work, and I will be happy to walk you through what I know.

Thank you to everyone who came last night to the September General Meeting! We also want to give a special thank you to Ms. Gloria for speaking about Fullerton Elementary School and our continued partnership to support our community! Also thank you to other guest speakers Delegate Harry Bhandari, Katherine Yi from Baltimore County, and Officer Brian DeHart! And thank you for yet another amazing drop off of school supplies!!

Don't forget about the September General Meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 15th at 7:00 pm! We'll be at Fullerton Elementary School! Representatives from Baltimore County Police will be there, along with members of the COP. We will have updates on the Halloween Parade, the Fall Stream Clean Up, a Fullerton Fireworks Update, and more! Plus the Live! Casino and Hotel Maryland drawing!
