In a region built on generations of craftsmanship and hard work, we’re proud to preserve a piece of that history while building for the future. Keeping our roots and core, while creating a space for the next chapter of GroffJulius.

Grain bins are used In almost every step of agriculture, from storage on the farm to storage at the feed mills. The sheet metal is only half of what is holding them together. The other half are bolts, thousands of bolts. It is easy to overlook the importance of bolts in a grain bin when you pace by it on the highway. But without them all you would have is a pile of bin sheets.

Ashley joins Groff Julius as a site superintendent, bringing with her a strong hands on background as a multi process welder with experience in metal fabrication and millwright work.

She’s excited for the opportunity to take on the responsibilities of site superintendent and bring her experience in welding and fabrication into a leadership role. She looks forward to helping keep projects organized, productive, and completed safely and to a high standard.

Ashley is also looking forward to working with a new team, learning how Groff Julius operates, and building strong relationships with the people she’ll be working alongside. Most importantly, she’s excited for the opportunity to grow with the company and contribute her experience along the way.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family. Family is important to her, and she values the time they get to spend together - whether they’re relaxing, getting outdoors, or simply enjoying time together.

So proud of the team and everyone behind the scenes that brought this project to life. GroffJulius broke ground in February to build a grain transload facility at the Port of Baltimore and finished in time for harvest as anticipated. Frey Commodities and Ports America Chesapeake hosted an open house and we were ecstatic to give Maryland farmers a tour of the new facility. The future is bright!
