Sometimes you want to talk about what you’re going through with people who just get it. And sometimes, you just want to have fun and not have to explain yourself at all.
That’s what Maria loves about being part of the Ulman community. You can swap stories, ask questions, talk about the hard stuff, or just spend the day laughing and making memories with people who understand.
Come make some memories with us on October 10 at Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center for a FREE Family Fun Day with climbing, zip lining, exploring, lunch, and plenty of time to hang out. It’s open to our young adult cancer community, survivors, and their families. 💙

Michelle Moshier is heading to Tanzania in just two weeks to take on Mount Kilimanjaro with thirteen members of our Ulman community, all while living with stage 4 cancer. 🥾
Michelle knows firsthand what it means to need a community behind you. After receiving treatment in Baltimore and finding support at Ulman House, she’s now taking on a challenge that once felt impossible.
We’re so grateful to 29News for sharing Michelle’s story and helping us share a little more of what’s behind this climb: pushing past what feels impossible, showing up for yourself, and bringing your community with you.

We’re opening up the conversation to our AYA comminuty and sharing some of the realities young adults face during and after cancer, because these topics, as comfortable or uncomfortable as they may be, deserve space too. We don’t have to navigate them alone.🎗️

To Kelli, Blaine, Ben, Grace, and Madison: thank you doesn’t feel like enough.
You stepped into the Haymakers for Hope ring, pushed yourselves further than you ever imagined, trained your a$$es off for months, and raised critical funds for Ulman’s young adult cancer community along the way. Some of you had never stepped foot in a boxing ring before, but you showed up, put in the work, and gave everything you had.
There were plenty of wins in that ring, but the biggest win of the night was the impact you made beyond it. Every training session, every punch, every dollar raised, and every person you brought into this community helps us continue creating a world where young adults and their loved ones impacted by cancer know they aren’t alone.
And to everyone who packed the room, cheered until you lost your voice, supported our fighters, and showed up for Ulman: WOW. The energy in that room was something we won’t forget. You made our fighters feel every bit of the community standing behind them.

A little Baltimore nostalgia, a whole lot of community. 🏀🚲
Thank you to the Minkove family and everyone who showed up for this year’s Tour de Court , an annual Baltimore tradition where participants bike from court to court throughout the tournament, bringing together friendly competition and community, all for a great cause.
For the past five years, Tour de Court has generously supported Ulman Foundation, donating $75,000 to help provide critical support, patient navigation services, housing, and community for young adults impacted by cancer.
We’re so grateful to be part of a Baltimore community that continues to show up for one another in so many ways. Thank U for making Ulman part of the Tour de Court family.

Okay Ulman fam, who’s ready to get a little adventurous with us?
We’re taking Family Fun Day to Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center for a free morning of climbing, zip lining, exploring, and probably a little screaming on the zipline. 🫨
This one’s for our young adult cancer community and their families, so bring your people and come hang with us on Oct.10th from 8 AM–12 PM. Try something new, cheer each other on, and make some memories with people who get it.
Oh, and we’ll have lunch waiting for you afterward. Because we’re not sending you home hungry. 😉
