A 2 star review landed on our Google page last night. The food reviewer/poster got it wrong. This diner never dined at Cafe Gia - as seen in the photos that were attached to their review. Not our pizza, certainly not our homemade lasagna and definitely not our tiramisu (ours is homemade 😉)

A quick reminder that an erroneous review can have real consequences for a small, local business. Reviews and photos often shape a customer’s decision about where to dine, so inaccurate information can unintentionally keep someone from ever giving us a try.

Well… we have a little Google mystery on our hands ... 👀

A recent review was posted for Café Gia, but it appears to have the wrong location attached — and the photos definitely aren’t ours.

We love a good tiramisu, but ours definitely don't come in plastic cups 😉 And while we love pizza, you won’t find ours being served on round metal plates. And as for the lasagna? Nope, ours isn't served with flat bread.

In other words… those photos are NOT Café Gia.

We’re always happy to receive honest feedback from our guests — that’s how any good restaurant gets better. But reviews are most helpful when they’re actually about the restaurant being reviewed. ❤️
