As a mom one thing I’m determined to keep doing is going to yoga. I loved it before my son and I still love it now. I go 3 days a week while on mat leave and plan to continue when I return to work. It’s always chaotic and I’m usually late or right on time but how I feel after is worth it!

Do you enjoy a solo day out?
I never vlog going to yoga because #1 I am usually late or right on time, and #2 I also usually have too much in my hands at once.
Today, I got my third workout in for the week and got a pedicure while reading Score (I'm also listening to the audiobook!). My pedicure was so relaxing 🙌🏾

It does take a village to raise a child but really it takes a village for a mother to recover, rest, and show up well. I am grateful for the people in my life who have made that possible.

The hatred never left, it just rebranded.
It’s time for us to WAKE UP. We cannot be asleep at the wheel. We must fight back, get up, and vote. We cannot afford to be comfortable.
We need to teach our young people about the importance of their vote. We need to rally and work together.

My first Mother’s Day, holding a baby in my arms and not grieving.
Today, I held my son and cried tears of joy and gratefulness. The wait was hard, but it shaped me. It molded me and made me into the woman I am today.
My heart is so full. I’ll never get tired of this. I spent years praying and begging God for this child and I am overjoyed. I am in awe. I love being Samuel’s mother. He is truly a gift from the Lord, and I am soaking up every single moment.
My husband wrote the most beautiful tribute to me today (last slide), and I couldn’t have asked for a better man to be married to and build a family with.
