Driving to Sedge Valley, I saw the view. I had a friendly employee give me a ride back to the vista where the commons was on full display. The sixth course at Sand Valley, The Commons will feature a unique 12 hole layout designed by Jim Craig.

Who else can’t wait to get a peak?

Some scenes at Mammoth Dunes just don’t look real — the way the light hits in the afternoon feels more like a rendering than a real course.

Looking back — Day 1, standing at Craig’s Porch looking down the 18th at Sand Valley set the tone for the whole trip — calm light, fresh air, and the feeling that we were in for something special.
