Bastrop Opera House

Everyday people, showing what real talent looks like. It's easy to underestimate a small theater — until you see what happens on this stage. See it for yourself at bastropoperahouse.org.

CAST SPOTLIGHT: Jacob Layton

It has been a dream of Jacob Layton’s to perform The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) for years. He’s thrilled to share the stage with his amazing castmates and especially excited to bring this show to audiences in Bastrop Opera House’s new Black Box. Jacob says he owes much of the life and love he has found to BOH and sends love to Kelsey, Gibson, and his family—both blood and BOH. Also, he has cats. 😄
