We Believe In BISD

Happy World Teachers’ Day to all of the hardworking educators who inspire, encourage, and make a difference every day, especially the incredible teachers of Bastrop Independent School District!

Thank you for your dedication, passion, and the lasting impact you make in the lives of our students and throughout our community. We appreciate all that you do!

It was amazing to see their structure with getting those kids home! Adleton is doing amazing things and attracted our sponsors, Bre Meador, Lori Tuggle State Farm Agent, and Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative. Thank you sponsors and keep doing what you're doing Adeleton!

Teachers, I want to reming you to use the "volunteer request" tab on the We Believe in BISD website. You have the support of the Bastrop business community.

Last week we had such a good time at Bastrop Middle School. We hope all the teachers enjoyed the snacks and company. It is so amazing to see all the smiling faces. Thank you to our sponsors: Bastrop Skate Palace, Becki Zumwalt Womble, and L Triple J for sponsoring this school.

On Tuesday, our We Believe in BISD group had the opportunity to visit Gateway School with their sponsor Bastrop Christian Ministerial Alliance.

These visits give our local business and community leaders a firsthand look at what’s happening inside our schools while creating stronger connections between education, business, and our community.

Thank you to the Gateway team for welcoming us and sharing your campus with us!

Today we were proud to partner with Bastrop ISD to celebrate the P-TECH program with a special Ribbon Cutting at Genesis High School!

P-TECH is helping create meaningful pathways for students to connect education with real-world career opportunities, and we’re excited to celebrate the collaboration and investment that make programs like this possible.

Thank you to Bastrop ISD, program leaders, community partners, and everyone who joined us today. Supporting our students and strengthening our future workforce is a win for the entire Bastrop region!

Congratulations to BISD and P-TECH on this exciting milestone!

Our Education Committee met at Bastrop High School, where members had the opportunity to tour the campus, learn more about the school, and see firsthand the work happening to support Bastrop ISD students.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect and continue building strong relationships between education, business, and our community. When we invest in our schools, we invest in the future of the Bastrop region.

Thank you to Bastrop High School for welcoming us!

The Bastrop Regional Chamber was honored to welcome new educators during the BISD New Teacher Academy on Wednesday!

Thanks to the generosity of our local businesses, each new teacher received a swag bag filled with community goodies and special offers. Our volunteers also had the opportunity to introduce the Chamber, share how we support local businesses, and highlight our We Believe in BISD initiative.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped give our newest teachers a warm Bastrop welcome. We are excited to have you in our community and wish you an incredible first year! 💙🍎

We Believe in BISD was proud to join the Back to School Bash and celebrate the incredible educators who make a difference in our community!

Teachers enjoyed fun games, friendly competition, plenty of smiles, and the chance to win some money along the way.

A special thank you to Roscoe Bank for serving as our Administrator Games Sponsor and helping make this experience possible. We appreciate your continued support of Bastrop ISD educators!

We're excited to announce our first We Believe visit to start off the year. Stay tuned, cause there are many more to come!
