Restoration Ranch
Restoration Ranch provides a safe haven for equine learning and development to veteran families.
Veteran families who join our team at Restoration Ranch have the opportunity to learn from the horses, build connections within the local community, contribute to service-oriented projects, and generally enjoy a safe-haven for personal growth and fulfillment. Our equine learning programs are offered in a variety of formats, including individual sessions targeted toward personal goals, group team building clinics, one-day respite workshops and weekend retreats designed to connect participants with the natural ranch environment. The introductory program provides veterans and their families the opportunity to learn holistic horsemanship skills that build an environment of teamwork and trust between horse and human. Over the course of the program, participants actively listen and observe what the horse is telling them about their approach and interactions. This process of asking, observing and adjusting their approach, helps them develop a feel for the horse and learn how to improve the quality of their work together. The outcomes have a profound impact as joyful working partnerships form between the veterans and horses based on clear communication and mutual trust.

Today, we honor the veterans we have lost, stand beside those still fighting battles we may never see, and remind every member of our military community that they do not have to carry those battles alone. 🇺🇸 At Restoration Ranch, we believe in the power of connection, community, and simply having a place to belong.
On Veterans Su***de Awareness and Remembrance Day, we remember. We listen. We stand together.
You are not alone. Your story matters. Your life matters. ❤️🩹🐴

A weekend filled with connection, growth, and meaningful moments. 🐴
Our Veterans Equine Partnership (VEP) workshop gave veterans the opportunity to build trust, strengthen confidence, and connect with horses—and one another—in a supportive environment.
We’re grateful to every veteran, peer coach, volunteer, and horse who made this workshop so special. 🇺🇸💙

Many thanks to our SpaceX volunteer team who came out to help w**d, clean, paint and muck with us today! They gave us a huge head start on painting the fence boards of the new arena and got to enjoy the minis and donkeys after lunch. What a great crew! ❤️🐴🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the heroes who answered the call, and reflect on the courage and unity that carried our nation forward.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Every step forward begins with trust. 🐴
Here, Chris works alongside one of our veterans during a private session in our Horsemanship Program. Each weekly session is tailored to the veteran’s individual needs and goals, helping them build confidence, strengthen their horsemanship skills, and form a deeper connection with their equine partner.
From groundwork and horse management to riding when appropriate, these moments of patient guidance create space for veterans and horses to learn, grow, and move forward together.
