Blossom

My name is Shelita Smith the founder of Blossom, a 501c3 nonprofit organization located here in the city Baton Rouge. We are on a mission to provide essential needs for infants to teens in East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Ascension, and Iberville parishes. Our purpose is to provide over 100 essentials to help those in need such as toiletries, tampons, pads, grooming kits, school supplies, diapers, wipes, detergent, blankets, as well as underclothes such as onesies, underwear, undershirts, bras, socks and more. It is our goal to restore hope, healing, and faith to each child for each item we give. It truly takes a village to raise a child and our goal is to partner with vigilant individuals to execute our mission such as Juvenile and Family court judges, teachers, principals, and pediatricians so when children enter the courtroom, classroom, or pediatric appointments our community professionals can request immediate assistance from Blossom. I am excited to fulfill my vision and encourage you to get involved as a volunteer, send in your goods, donations and support us for the greater good of our children, our community.
