Congratulations to our girls’ track team on an incredible achievement! This marked CSAL Elementary very first track meet, and our students rose to the occasion—even while competing against middle school athletes.

A huge shout out to Coach Thomas for the vision and dedication to establish a track team at CSAL Elementary. Special thanks as well to Ms. Kayla for her support in assisting the coach and making sure our students were prepared and ready to take on the challenge.

This has been an outstanding year for CSAL Elementary. We proudly began our journey as a Lighthouse School, earning national recognition for our efforts.

Being a Lighthouse School means that CSAL Elementary has been nationally recognized for creating a culture where leadership, responsibility, and personal growth are part of everyday learning. Through the Leader in Me framework, our students are taught important life skills like goal setting, teamwork, and accountability, helping them succeed both in and out of the classroom. It reflects our commitment to empowering every student to lead, achieve, and make a positive impact.

Our 5th grade scholars experienced an amazing 6th Grade Prospect Day as CSAL Middle School Wolverines came to show what’s ahead! From band 🎺, cheer 📣, dance 💃🏾, theater 🎭, Beta Club 🧠, honors, and sports 🏀, our students were able to see the many pathways they can step into.
This experience wasn’t just about activities—it was about leadership, growth, and preparing for what’s next.
We are proud to continue building confident, well-rounded students who are ready to transition from Warriors ➡️ Wolverines!

Gardening with Grandparents! Today CSAL kicked off Earth Day by repotting some of their favorite vegetables with their grandparents. The turn out and engagement was amazing. A special thanks to our grandparents that attended. You are essential parts of our students lives.

Happy Assistant Principal week to CSAL Elementary favorite AP, Ms. M. Bellard. We adore her commitment and dedication to ensure that the staff and students are achieving at their highest potential daily. We see you and we thank you for being the gentle back bone we need!

Let’s not forget about our awesome Friday STEM Fair with Baton Rouge STEM, BigBuddy and our Volunteers from Madison Preparatory Academy & LSU Tigers. The students enjoyed the live animals and all of the hands on activities. the fair was truly a learning treat!
