We’re honored to have been part of the teachers’ luncheon today at Woodlawn High School.

In cooperation with our friends at the St. George Chamber of Commerce, we topped off their lunch with a sweet treat as they get their classrooms ready to welcome students for the 2026-27 school year.

Want to celebrate your teachers and staff? Let me know which party tray best suits your environment.

What a sweet night at BROC, Rock & Wine!

Last night we had the honor of providing the desserts for the sweets table at this incredible event supporting the Baton Rouge Orthopaedic Clinic Foundation and their Athletic Training Outreach Program.

As a mom to a former student athletic trainer, it was a joy to be part of an evening that’s dedicated to the care of our local student-athletes.

Thank you for letting us add a little sweetness to such a meaningful night!

396 items or 33 dozen baked goods in a single day. Just cause I’ve been a little quiet on the social media front of late, doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy.

After a brief vacation to unwind and prepare for upcoming fall events, I’ve hit the ground running, back in the kitchen, cranking out everything from muffins to cinnamon rolls to cookies.

Today we’re baking more strawberry muffins for an upcoming event which leads me to address my use of fresh fruit with the ongoing cyclospora outbreak. I am using fresh fruit as long as my goods are baked. They’re baked at a high enough temperature for long enough to kill anything that could be hiding on the fruit. Even though I thoroughly wash all the items, I will not be garnishing my finished products with any fresh fruit until this parasite makes it way out of the food chain again. 😞 All an effort to keep you safe from harm. I look forward to the day where I can resume those garnishing!

It’s never too early to celebrate one of the best pies around, pecan pie.

On this national pecan pie day we honor a fall favorite and our pecan pie bars, both of which are on our menu all year long.

We salute our blueberry muffins on this National Blueberry Muffin Day. Moist, delicate crumb, just sweet enough and full of natures candy. Topped with a light dusting of sugar.
