"We like to say hospitality is free. It doesn't cost anything to be nice or kind to someone."

That's the approach LCI alum Meredith Beck-Wiggins has embraced as Cheba Hut prepares to open its second Baton Rouge location. Inspired by the principles of hospitality, Meredith has helped create an experience where guests receive the attentiveness and personal service often associated with fine dining, all within a quick-service setting.

Congratulations on your continued success, Meredith! We're proud to call you an LCI alum and can't wait to see what's next.

What began as a mission to create allergen-friendly meals for her daughter became a thriving culinary career.

When her daughter developed severe food allergies, LCI graduate Chef Ciara Finley transformed a personal challenge into a purpose. Today, through Desiderata Kitchen, she's creating exceptional dining experiences that prove inclusive food can be every bit as flavorful, comforting, and memorable.

We're always proud to see our alumni making an impact in the culinary industry.
