Last week, Louisiana CASA hosted Training of Facilitators (TOF) in Covington, LA. Led by Master Facilitator and Louisiana CASA's Director of Member Services, Stephanie Breeden LMSW, this training prepares staff to lead the pre-service course for future CASA volunteers. These training facilitators are now ready to help train advocates who will make a difference in the lives of children across Louisiana!

For children in foster care, the support of grandparents can be especially meaningful, helping children maintain important family connections during times of uncertainty. Louisiana CASA’s Director of Member Services, Stephanie Breeden LMSW, recently met with the Capital Area CASA team in Baton Rouge to review the implementation of the Child Well-Being Assessment and discuss best practices for helping volunteers use the assessment to strengthen their advocacy for children.

Through training, guidance, and individualized support, Louisiana CASA helps local programs equip volunteers with the knowledge and tools they need to advocate effectively for the children they serve. Thank you to the Capital Area CASA team for a thoughtful and productive conversation!
