Baton Rouge Sellers Return in Force as Prices Stay Steady
Baton Rouge’s housing market is showing some interesting trends this season. The median list price has held steady at $300,000, even as active listings have ticked up by 1%. What truly stands out is the 16.5% jump in new listings—sellers are re-entering the market with renewed energy. Yet, despite this increase, supply remains tight, and 20% of listings have had to adjust their prices. On average, homes are selling in 72 days, which is 4% faster than last year.
