Happy Juneteenth!

Born in the 80s, raised in the 90s, my brother and I grew up watching all the classic 90s black sitcoms. One of our favorites was The Wayans Brothers. Part of what makes culture so great is the relatability. We saw ourselves in the characters; Chris as Shawn Wayans Chad as Marlon Wayans We saw our father related in the characters as well, we even started to call him Pops.

This show made a profound impression on our lives. We feel it’s important to give people their flowers while they’re still living. We hope we can make a fraction of an impact on the culture that The Wayans Brothers have, as well as the entire Wayans family.
