Before we can transform this once-blighted property into a beautiful new home, we must make sure it is safe and protected for the family who will one day live there.

Something exciting is happening on Alliquippa Street!

Rebuilding Together Baton Rouge is transforming a once-blighted, adjudicated property into a safe, beautiful home that will eventually belong to a new homeowner. But a project like this doesn’t happen without the generosity of local businesses that believe in investing in our community.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting some of the incredible businesses that have stepped up to provide materials, skilled labor, services and financial support for our Alliquippa House.

A donated roof, termite extermination, every hour of skilled labor, every piece of material and every dollar invested moves this house, this street, this neighborhood—one step forward.

We are incredibly grateful to the businesses that have said YES to this project.

This project is about much more than renovating one house. We’re taking a blighted property, bringing it back to life, and working toward putting it into the hands of a first-time homeowner — one house and one block at a time.

Community partners like Premier South Roofing make this work possible. Their generosity allows our dollars to go further and helps us continue investing in neighborhoods that deserve renewed attention and opportunity.

The HBA|GBR Remodelers Council had the opportunity to visit Rebuilding Together Baton Rouge this afternoon to learn more about their mission, the incredible work they’re doing in our community, and ways we can partner together to make an even greater impact!
