Today we honor these great heroes who lost their lives. Their sacrifice to our community won’t be forgotten.

Today, we remember the four officers who lost their lives in the July 17, 2016, ambush. We honor their sacrifice to protecting our community. Their legacy will never be forgotten.

🗣️ Thank you to all the people who were able to attend the legislative town hall last night. We were able to share updates from the legislative session that ended on June 1.

📢A highlight of the evening was hearing from three different state agencies who were able to be in attendance including Louisiana Department of Insurance, Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) and Louisiana Works. This was a great opportunity for constituents to ask questions directly to DOTD about projects in the area as well as hear updates on what LA Works is doing to get people back to work. Insurance remains the key isssue and updates were given on legislation that passed the last few years and the trends we are seeing today. There is still much work to be done. 

💰I truly enjoy these events as it’s great to have face-to-face conversations with the people we represent in order to hear directly from them. We discussed various issues that are impacting families but insurance costs, legal reform and flood mitigation were some of the most popular topics.

🚧The announcement of SAFE Siegen is monumental for the city of St. George, La. and is a perfect example of good government that works for the people.
