After much thought (and a few tears), we wanted to share that our salon suite will be closing as of July 31.

As some of you know, Shelby is officially out on maternity leave (as of today) awaiting the arrival of baby girl. During this time, we’ve been making some decisions about what the next season of life and business looks like for our families.

Beginning August 1, Sarah and I will be working from separate locations. Sarah will be joining The Suites at Americana in Zachary, and Shelby’s new location will be announced soon before her return from maternity leave.

We love each other dearly and are incredibly grateful for the years we’ve spent working side by side. This decision simply comes down to what makes the most sense for our families. With kids, school schedules, activities, and life getting busier, we both need to be a little closer to home.

While we’re excited for this next chapter, we’re also genuinely sad. Building this business together has been such a special season of our lives, and we’re going to miss seeing each other every day.

We are so thankful for every client who has supported us, trusted us, laughed with us, and made our suite feel like home. We can’t wait to continue serving you in our new spaces and are excited to share what comes next!

With four babies and a husband that works shift work, this is the best schedule for my growing family upon my return from maternity leave! This is actually more hours than I work now, the main adjustment that I know will be difficult for some, will be closing at 4 instead of 5. I will also have a small price increase (mainly on haircuts) effective April 1. My full price list is always available on our booking site and I still encourage pre-booking appointments when you can. Sarah will be cutting back her weekly schedule to allow for a better work–life balance this year (we love that for her)! Because of this, her availability will be more limited moving forward.

💖 Pre-booking is strongly encouraged through August to ensure you keep your preferred days and times. Her holiday schedule will be opened up later in the year.
💖 Sarah will *not* be accepting new clients during this period so she can continue having availability and giving the best care to her existing guests.

Hi everyone! 💛
We wanted to give a quick update! Over the last few weeks, Shelby has been dealing with some pretty painful gallbladder issues, and her doctor has recommended surgery over the Christmas break.

She is still taking care of clients as able, but may need a little extra flexibility with scheduling and response time while managing these symptoms and preparing for surgery.
