A new survey of Democratic voters is raising serious questions about the state of America's political culture.

The Center for Strategic Politics surveyed 683 Democratic voters and found that 59% said they would feel somewhat or very positive if President Trump were removed from office through a military coup. Even more troubling, 32% said they would feel positively about a hypothetical assassination of the president at a rally.

Political disagreement is part of a free society. Political violence is not.

Americans can fiercely oppose a president, protest his policies, organize against him and vote against his party. But when military intervention or assassination becomes acceptable to a significant share of respondents in a political survey, it should concern Americans across the political spectrum.

Our constitutional system gives us elections, Congress, courts and lawful processes for resolving political disputes. Those institutions matter most when our disagreements are at their strongest.

Political hatred cannot be allowed to replace constitutional government.

A new Daily Wire opinion piece raises a question America cannot afford to ignore: Are we paying enough attention to the long term strategic challenge posed by China?

Author Chloe Trapanotto points to Beijing’s ambitions in artificial intelligence, technological competition, influence operations, and its relationships with Russia, Iran, and North Korea. She also argues that growing hostility toward Israel has distorted how some Americans perceive threats to U.S. interests.

Whatever Americans conclude about the comparison, China’s technological, economic, and geopolitical ambitions deserve serious scrutiny.

Federal authorities say they stopped a potentially devastating ISIS-inspired terrorist attack before innocent Americans were harmed.

The FBI arrested 21-year-old Jonathan Kramer in Pennsylvania after investigators say he obtained a semiautomatic rifle and approximately 190 rounds of ammunition for what he called his "mission." Authorities allege Kramer had shared ISIS propaganda online and discussed plans for a mass attack.

The case is another sobering reminder that the threat of terrorism did not disappear after September 11. America must remain vigilant, support the men and women working to stop these threats, and take seriously those who embrace violent extremist ideologies.

We are grateful this alleged plot was disrupted before lives were lost, and we pray for continued wisdom and protection for those charged with defending our nation.

Twenty-five years after September 11, “Never Forget” must mean more than remembering where we were that morning. It must also mean understanding what happened, why it happened, and having the courage to defend the freedoms that were attacked.

In a new Daily Wire opinion piece, historian Richard Landes argues that America has spent decades remembering the terrorism of 9/11 while often refusing to honestly confront the ideology of Islamism that fuels jihadist extremism.

That distinction matters. This is not about condemning Muslims. Millions of Muslims reject extremism, and many have suffered under Islamist regimes and terrorist organizations themselves. It is about recognizing that no political or religious ideology should be permitted to place itself above freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, equal citizenship, or the rule of law.

America can protect religious liberty while also unapologetically defending the constitutional principles that make religious liberty possible.

We should never forget the 2,977 lives taken on September 11, 2001. We should also never become so afraid of difficult conversations that we forget what America is called to defend.

Remember the fallen. Defend liberty. Stand for truth. Never again.

Twenty-five years ago today, America changed forever.

On September 11, 2001, 2,977 innocent people were killed in the deadliest terrorist attack in our nation's history.

Today, we remember the lives taken at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93. We honor the firefighters, police officers, first responders, service members, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger when others were trying to escape it.

We also remember what happened afterward.

Americans prayed together. Churches filled. Flags flew from homes and businesses. Political differences seemed smaller, and for a moment, we remembered that before anything else, we were Americans.

Twenty-five years later, our country could use some of that unity again.

May we never forget those we lost, never take our freedom for granted, and never stop teaching the next generation what happened that September morning.

The Lindsay Clancy case may have ended in a mistrial, but the battle over what happens next is already underway.

Clancy admitted to killing her three young children, Cora, Dawson, and Callan. The central question at trial was whether she was criminally responsible because of her mental condition at the time. After weeks of testimony and seven days of deliberations, the jury deadlocked, reportedly 11 to 1 in favor of finding her not guilty by reason of insanity.

Now, some former jurors have publicly criticized the lone holdout, while Clancy's defense attorney has also sharply criticized him. Meanwhile, the defense is asking the judge to enter a finding of not guilty by reason of insanity rather than allow the possibility of another trial.

Mental illness deserves compassion. Postpartum mental health deserves serious attention. But so do the lives of Cora, Dawson, and Callan.

Our justice system depends on jurors being able to examine the evidence, follow the law, and reach their own conclusions without fear of being publicly targeted because they refused to join the majority.

Whatever happens next, justice should be determined by evidence and the law inside a courtroom, not by pressure outside of it.

And as Christians, we can pray for everyone touched by this unimaginable tragedy while remembering three innocent children whose lives were taken far too soon.

One year ago today, America lost Charlie Kirk.

But a year later, the legacy he left behind is unmistakable.
Charlie devoted much of his life to reaching a generation of young Americans with a message centered on faith, family, freedom, and love of country. The movement he helped build continues today, and we pray that Turning Point USA will faithfully carry that legacy forward for generations to come.

Today, however, our thoughts extend beyond politics and the movement Charlie built. We remember a husband, a father, a friend, and a brother in Christ whose life was taken far too soon.
We ask our readers to join us in praying for Erika Kirk, their children, and everyone who loved Charlie. Anniversaries like this reopen wounds that the rest of the world may no longer see. May God continue to give them strength, comfort, peace, and wisdom in the days ahead.

We also believe one of the most meaningful ways Americans can honor Charlie's legacy is to take seriously something he increasingly emphasized during his life: faith.
Open your Bible. Read God's Word. Pray for your family, your neighbors, and your country. Get involved in your community. Be informed about the issues facing our nation, and when the midterm elections arrive, show up and vote according to your conscience and convictions.

Our country needs citizens who seek truth, stand courageously for what they believe, and recognize that our ultimate hope does not rest in any political party, candidate, or movement. Our hope rests in Jesus Christ.

Charlie Kirk's earthly voice was silenced one year ago, but the impact of his life continues through the people he inspired and the movement he helped build.

Today, we remember Charlie. We pray for his family. And we pray that America will continue turning toward faith, truth, freedom, and the principles that honor God.

May his legacy continue to inspire a generation.

The memorial for Charlie Kirk at Southeastern was a hit last night, with many informative points and conversations! Much love and prayer for the Kirks, and remembering the death of a truly influential person, Charlie Kirk.

BREAKING: A mistrial has been declared in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial after jurors failed to reach a unanimous verdict following seven days of deliberations.

Clancy admitted to killing her three young children in 2023, but her defense argued that postpartum psychosis left her not criminally responsible. Prosecutors maintained that the killings were deliberate and premeditated.

The defense fought the mistrial, arguing that a holdout juror was refusing to properly follow the court’s instructions on reasonable doubt. The judge declined to remove the juror, and the deadlock ultimately ended the trial without a verdict.

The case may now be tried again.
