What a gift she is 🩷

Liz Koh WAFB has taught me so much over the years of knowing her and not just about journalism, but by modeling what it looks like to lead with kindness. There have been many moments I have caught and STILL catch myself asking, “what would Liz do?” She’s a beautiful example of what it looks like to love people and serve others!

When I moved here, she welcomed me with open arms and was always generous with her time and willing to help. She’s the kind of person you go out to lunch with and suddenly hours have passed because the conversation is so rich.

I’m better for having known her and I’ll miss her more than I can put into words. I know I’m echoing what so many others have said about her but she deserves every word🩷🩷

Shoutout to our girl who went public with her faith! 🤍

Watching Mazie grow in her faith since I met her at 2 has been an absolute delight. She has a childlike faith, a genuine desire to follow Jesus, and has become a prayer warrior!! The first thing she says when she or someone else is hurting is “we need to pray!”

We’ve prayed for her over the years, asking God to draw her closer to Him, that she would bear the fruit of the Spirit, and that the Lord would hedge her with His protection.

Three years later and her relationship with God has grown so much that she wanted to get baptized and share what He has done in her heart. She’s a beautiful example of a life committed to Jesus, and we’re so grateful she has an army of people who love, support, and pray for her!!

And getting to watch Joey baptize her 🥹🥹 so special. He was also 5 when he was baptized in Albania by his father on a mission trip. I love the way Joey leads our home, points us all back to Christ, and stays committed to raising our kids to follow Jesus too.

It was one of those days that reminds you how good God is and why following Jesus is always worth celebrating. Never stop praying for your kids!!

We love you so much sweet girl 🤍 Heaven is rejoicing!!!!

Pete is 15 months and Mark is now 3 months, and they are fully running the show while we just try to keep up 😂 we’re grateful for every second of this sweet season and baby cuddles. Hope your day was a good one.

Meet our newest family member! Mark James born on August 12th weighing a strong 9lbs 9oz🫶🏼

We wrangled up an early celebration for our sweet cowboy Pete’s 1st birthday! So grateful to have G-ma and G-pa with us from Michigan. We can’t thank our family and friends enough for making the weekend so special and helping out with the party!🤠 thank you for the cutest and delicious cake!!

Petey took his first flight and turned 9 months in Michigan ✈️ just in time for the last little bit of crisp air and hoodies!
