APAWS is a no-kill, nonprofit animal rescue. Let us help you find your new best friend!! We believe every animal deserves a chance.
We don't euthanize based on how much the treatment will cost or how adoptable the animal is! If you have a question or concern about our foster pets or an animal in need, please email us directly at [email protected]. Our page is maintained by social media volunteers, and the fastest way to reach a board member and receive an official answer concerning an animal is via email. Please feel free to share your adoption stories, photos, any questions about events and fundraisers, and your experience with APAWS on this page. We would love to hear from you!

We had the best time today with our friends at Parish Pets for puppy yoga!! 💙 Thank you to everyone that came out!!
🚨 FOSTER NEEDED FOR TWO SWEET GIRLS 🚨
These two little girls, both under 25 lbs, were thrown out of a car by their owner and are understandably absolutely terrified. Despite everything they’ve been through, they deserve the chance to feel safe and loved again. Both are fully vetted. The black & white girl is heartworm negative, and the tan girl (mom) is very lightly heartworm positive. APAWS would love to help them, but we need a foster home in order to say yes. If you can foster one or both of these girls, please message us. Even sharing this post could help us find the person who can give them a safe place to land.
