Baton Rouge Music Studios teaches instrument and vocal technique as well as music theory through private lessons and group classes. Communication and leadership skills are learned and put into practice in our Young Band Nation and RockLab program, where students form bands, book gigs, self-promote, record in our studio, create music videos, and much more. BRMS is dedicated to providing educational and performance opportunities that are more relevant to pop culture and the kinds of music kids are inspired by in this day and age than any other music education program in the area.

Meet Amelia, this week’s BRMS performer for Live After Five, Inc. Amelia is a talented singer and performer. She currently takes voice lessons from our voice guide, Coryn, and is a new member of our Young Band Nation performance program where she will sing with a band in addition to working on her development as a solo artist. We’re lucky to have you, Amelia, and we can’t wait to see you take the stage this Friday, September 25th!

Meet Clay Parker, songwriting guide for our new SongLab program. Two sections for teens and adults who are already writing and want to learn tips and tricks on how to make their songs more compelling and impactful. 8 Tuesdays from Sep 29-Nov 17. Multiple opportunities to perform and a demo recording of your song at the end of the term. Find your songwriting community through SongLab! Here we go! Excited to feature BRMS instructor and Young Band guide, Marley Vick at tomorrow’s LAF debut concert for the Fall 2026 Season! Join us for this free concert with Chris LeBlanc headlining and Marley performing a few songs during the mid show set break. Thanks to Be Positive for partnering with us to celebrate our students and staff at this fantastic free event for Baton Rouge music lovers.
Live After Five, Inc. is back and BRMS has a full roster of talented teachers and students all lined up! What better way to kick off the season than to celebrate an amazing instructor who just kicked off her journey with us! Marley Vick will sing the national anthem at the top of the show, then perform during Chris LeBlanc Band set break mid show! Come check out our friend Marley and our friend and longtime supporter of BRMS, Chris LeBlanc, rock the stage!
