Jewelry made with vintage buttons and glass. Francisville, LA. I applied on a whim as a way to make extra money, but I earned so much more than a paycheck.
After a decade-long hiatus, I returned to the jewelry world by working as a maker/designer at Grandmother’s Buttons in St. I reignited my passion in jewelry designing and developed a new appreciation for buttons. After Grandmother’s Buttons announced their closing, I decided that I had to find a way to keep button jewelry alive. So, here I am!

The 💜Ione Earrings & Necklace💜 have always had a special place in my heart. These pieces were serendipitously named after my great grandmother when I designed them for Grandmother's Buttons, and I couldn't bring myself to change it!

This design features a violet agate-style glass cabochon and violet moonstone cabochons, made in West Germany, circa 1950-1960. Every piece comes with a brief history of the vintage part of the design on the back of the tag.

Seriously, though. My design process is as follows:
Dump a bunch of things onto my desk, turn on my Watch What Crappens podcast, enter a trance, and be pleasantly surprised at what I come up with! I wish I could claim more creative genius than that! 😹
