Apostle Barbara Yoder

I am absolutely convinced that we are entering a year unlike any other.

GOD is ready to pour out His blessings upon those who align with Him properly and rightly in this season—and who are willing to come out of alignment with anything or anyone that neutralizes who they are—their identity—or diminishes, undermines, or derails what GOD has called them to do—their assignment.

Something unusual has been happening around my home that has gotten my attention.

A turkey—a symbol I associate with thanksgiving, provision, and prosperity—has repeatedly been coming right up to my front door and to the sliding doors on my deck. At times, two of them have come together.

Then there are the swans.

For years, the pond near my home has usually had one or two swans. But suddenly, there are often six or seven! In all the years I have lived here, I have never seen this happen.

It is as though signs of blessing are gathering around my house.

Some might consider it ordinary or simply a coincidence, but I do not believe it is happenstance. Because of the unusual and repeated nature of these visits, they have gotten my attention. I believe GOD is speaking to me through them.

Swans have long been associated with grace, beauty, purity, wisdom, stateliness, covenantal love—they mate for life—and transformation, as illustrated in the familiar story of The Ugly Duckling.

But I don’t believe what GOD is saying is only for me. I believe there is a message here for all of us.

Last year was a year in which GOD was dealing with our Jacob nature—our human nature. He was confronting and removing those things that compromised our full identity in Christ.

But now we are moving into something new.

This is a year of transformation into the reality described in Ephesians 2—the one new man created through Jesus Christ. Through His blood, the dividing wall has been broken down. Jew and Gentile are reconciled to GOD and brought together in Christ.

GOD has been removing what compromised our identity so that we can come into full alignment with Him.

And where there is right alignment, there can be fullness.

There can be abundance.

There can be prosperity.

And when I say prosperity, I am not talking merely about wealth or money. Yes, financial provision can be part of it, but biblical prosperity is much larger than that.

I am talking about thriving in every area GOD has ordained for us—spirit, soul, and body.

It is time to align.

Align your identity with what GOD says about you.

Align your assignment with what GOD has called you to do.

Align your relationships with what strengthens rather than neutralizes GOD’s purposes in your life.

And especially, align your mouth with GOD.

Begin declaring what GOD is saying about the new, regardless of what your present circumstances look like.

Do not allow your mouth to remain aligned with the old when GOD is declaring the new.

Speak what GOD is speaking.

When your mouth comes into agreement with GOD, you are positioning your spirit, soul, and body to come into agreement with Him as well.

This is a season of alignment.
This is a season of transformation.
This is a season of fullness.
This is a season to thrive.

Come out of agreement with everything that diminishes your identity or derails your assignment.

ALIGN WITH GOD—and declare the NEW!

(I went by to see my friends, the swans the other day and took this picture.)

ELUL: DAY 7

THE WORD IS NEAR

“The Word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart to do it.” Debarim/Deuteronomy 30:14, ISR

There is a great deception that can enter the heart of a covenant people: believing that obedience is somewhere beyond reach.
Yet Moshe declares something different: “The Word is very near you.”

Near enough to hear.
Near enough to receive.
Near enough to speak.
Near enough to do.

Yahuah did not give His Word to only increase our knowledge. His Word is intended to enter the heart, shape the mouth, govern the will, and become visible in the way we walk.

The Word is not given to inform us alone. It is given to form us.
Information can fill our minds. Formation changes our lives.

We can know Scripture and remain unchanged.
We can speak covenant language while another allegiance governs our decisions. We can collect revelation while resisting the obedience it requires.

The Bride is not being prepared by collecting beautiful words about covenant. She is being formed into a covenant people.

Yahshua said: “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”
Yoḥanan/John 10:27, ISR

Notice the movement: They hear. He knows. They follow.

Hearing and following belong together.

The Bride does not demonstrate that she knows the Bridegroom by the beauty of her speech about Him. She demonstrates relationship through the way she responds to His voice.

This is why the Word being near carries such weight.
If the Word is in your mouth, you have something to speak.
If the Word is in your heart, you have something to guard.
If the Word is given “to do,” then revelation carries responsibility.

There is also something beautiful about the Word being in the mouth and in the heart.

The mouth speaks what the heart carries.

This is why Scripture repeatedly warns us about vain speech, false testimony, murmuring, slander, and words that destroy.

A covenant heart must eventually produce covenant speech.

What Yahuah writes within us begins to shape what comes out of us. The mouth becomes a witness to the condition of the heart.

This month of Elul is a time to ask the following:

What has been coming out of me?

Not only when I am in worship.
Not only when I am teaching.
Not only when I am surrounded by people who agree with me.

What comes out when I am disappointed?
When I am corrected?
When I am misunderstood?
When I am overlooked?
When someone wounds me?
When I do not get my way?

The Word must become near enough to govern those moments too. The Bride is not being formed for a moment. She is being formed for a life of covenant.

The Word must travel from the page into the heart.
From the heart into the mouth.
From the mouth into the walk.
From the walk into the witness.

That is formation.

The Word searches. The Word exposes. The Word corrects.
The Word establishes.

“For the Word of Elohim is living and working and sharper than any two-edged sword...” Ibrim/Hebrews 4:12, ISR

Do not fear the Word because it exposes you. The Word that exposes is also the Word that establishes. The same Word that reveals where you have wandered shows you the way back.

The same Word that confronts rebellion shows you the path of obedience. The same Word that cuts also restores.

Moshe declared: “I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore choose life...”
Debarim/Deuteronomy 30:19, ISR

The way Yahuah gives is not designed to keep His people from life. His way leads into life.

The Bride must stop seeing obedience as the enemy of freedom. The boundaries of covenant are not rejection. They are the wisdom of the One who knows the way of life.

She learns His ways because she trusts His heart. She obeys because she belongs. She walks because He has spoken.

There is no need to wait for another revelation before obeying what Yahuah has already made clear.

The Word is near.

The question is no longer only “What is Yahuah saying?”

The deeper question is: “How will I walk in what He has said?”

That is where revelation becomes covenant. That is where hearing becomes obedience. That is where knowledge becomes wisdom. That is where love becomes allegiance.

The Bridegroom has spoken.
The Word is near.

Walk it.
Live it.
Become it.
Be a Bridal Witness.

A Prayer for Day 7

Yahuah, let Your Word come near to me. Let it move beyond information and become formation within me. Write Your truth upon my heart until Your Word governs the way I think, speak, choose, respond, and walk.

Guard me from hearing Your voice without responding. Put Your Word in my mouth and establish it in my heart.

When fear speaks, let Your Word speak louder. When offense speaks, let Your Word govern me. When my desires pull against Your ways, teach me to surrender.

Let my hidden life reflect Your Word.

I receive it. I treasure it. I guard it. I obey it.

“The Word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart to do it.”
Debarim/Deuteronomy 30:14, ISR

In Yahshua's Name, Amen.

Perfect timing on the Gates!!

GUARD THE GATES OF THE GARDEN - Not Everything That Knocks Deserves a Key - No more giving too much easy access to your soul. There are seasons when God does not build another room in your life.
He strengthens the doors.

This can feel strange to a heart accustomed to measuring love by how much it can carry.

You learned how to open.
How to forgive.
How to remain tender after disappointment.
How to leave the lamp burning for people wandering home.

But nobody told you that a lamp and a key are two different things.

You may leave the light on without handing everyone access.

A garden does not become cruel when it grows a gate.
The gate exists because something inside has become worth cultivating.

There was a time when survival required you to notice every sound outside the walls. Every change in someone’s voice. Every withdrawal. Every approaching storm. You became fluent in atmospheres because uncertainty trained you to listen for danger before danger announced itself.

But eventually, the watchman who saved the city during war must learn that peace has different instructions.

Otherwise, even after the enemy has left, the bells keep ringing.

“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” — Proverbs 4:23

Notice what Scripture does not say.

It does not say bury your heart.
It does not say harden your heart.
It does not say make your heart unreachable.

It says keep it.

Tend it.
Watch its gates.
Know what enters.
Know what remains.
Know what has overstayed its season.

Because your heart is not merely where you feel.

It is where tomorrow receives its water.

A poisoned well does not only affect the person standing beside it. It travels underground. It enters fields nobody thought were connected.

So does bitterness.
So does rejection.
So does chronic disappointment.
So does the exhausting habit of allowing other people’s instability to become weather inside your own soul.

Guarding your heart, then, is not withdrawal.

It is irrigation.

It is deciding what will be permitted to travel downstream.

THE LORD IS SAYING

“My beloved, I am teaching you the difference between an open heart and an unguarded one.

You thought maturity meant becoming strong enough to tolerate everything.

But some things are not meant to be tolerated.
They are meant to be identified.

I did not heal your heart so it could become public property.

There are rooms within you where I planted things while nobody was watching. New courage. New laughter. New expectations. Desires you were once afraid to admit. A tenderness that survived fires it should never have been asked to enter.

Guard these things.

Not fearfully.

Intentionally.

You do not place walls around emptiness.
You build them around treasure.

And I am teaching you something deeper than identity.

I am teaching you the stewardship of identity.

It is one thing to discover that you are valuable.
It is another thing to stop negotiating your value whenever someone is disappointed with your boundaries.

It is one thing to know who you are.
It is another thing to arrange your life as though you believe it.

Watch what happens now.

The stronger you become, the less strength will look like tension.

Joy will become muscular.

Peace will stop being merely something you experience after the battle and become something you refuse to surrender during it.

You are entering a season where you will not need to become cold to become difficult to wound.

You will become rooted.

Wind can argue with a tree all night.

The tree does not have to answer.”

MENTAL HEALTH REVELATIONS
1. Hypervigilance can survive long after the emergency. Sometimes the mind continues guarding doors that are no longer under attack. Healing includes teaching the nervous system that discernment does not require constant alarm.

2. A boundary is not the opposite of love. It is the architecture that allows love to remain love without becoming resentment, exhaustion, control, or self-erasure.

3. Identity becomes psychologically powerful when it becomes behavioral. “I know my worth” changes very little until worth begins appearing in decisions, relationships, schedules, expectations, rest, and what you no longer chase.

4. Not every emotion requires obedience. Feelings are messengers, but messengers do not sit on the throne. You may acknowledge fear without allowing fear to choose your direction.

5. Joy is not emotional decoration. Joy can become internal resistance against circumstances that continually demand ownership of your inner world.

6. Peace needs stewardship. If every person’s urgency is permitted to become your urgency, eventually your inner life becomes a waiting room filled with other people’s emergencies.

7. You can remain compassionate without becoming absorbent. A window allows light to enter without becoming the weather outside.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
I will not confuse access with love.

I will not apologize for protecting what God is cultivating.

My tenderness will remain alive, but it will no longer travel without discernment.

I release the assignment of managing everyone’s emotional weather.

I will not allow another person’s chaos to rent rooms in my mind.

My peace is becoming governed, not accidental.

My joy is growing roots.

My boundaries will not be built from bitterness but from wisdom.

I will recognize what belongs at the gate, what belongs in the courtyard, and what has earned entrance into the inner chambers.

I will not merely know my identity. I will build a life that agrees with it.

My heart will remain soft before God and wisely guarded before the world.

10 HEAVENLY WHISPERS
1. “You are not becoming harder. You are becoming harder to uproot.”

2. “Some doors are holy precisely because they do not open for every knock.”

3. “Do not mistake your ability to carry something for My permission to keep carrying it.”

4. “The next evidence of your healing may not be what you can endure, but what you peacefully decline.”

5. “I am teaching your heart that peace does not need permission from the people who disturbed it.”

6. “You can bless someone from the gate without giving them a bedroom.”

7. “Your joy is learning how to stand without explaining why it deserves to live.”

8. “Stop sending your worth into rooms to be voted upon.”

9. “What I planted privately must not be surrendered publicly.”

10. “Keep the garden, beloved. There are things preparing to bloom that your former boundaries could never have protected.”

PRAYER
My Heavenly Father,
Teach me the holy intelligence of the gate.

Keep my heart tender enough to hear You and strong enough not to answer every knock.

Show me where compassion has become exhaustion, where responsibility has become over-responsibility, and where love has quietly become permission for things You never asked me to tolerate.

Heal the watchman inside me who still believes every distant sound means war is approaching.

Teach my mind peace.
Teach my body safety.
Teach my emotions order.
Teach my relationships wisdom.

Let me stop merely confessing that I know who I am and begin arranging my choices around the value You have placed upon my life.

Give my joy roots.
Give my peace government.
Give my tenderness gates.
Give my discernment courage.

May I never become cold because I was wounded.
May I become wise because I was healed.

Let my heart remain a garden where Your presence can walk freely, Your voice can be heard clearly, and the things You planted can finally grow without being repeatedly trampled by what I was afraid to turn away.

I give You the keys again.

Teach me what to open.
Teach me what to close.
Teach me what to release.
And teach me when no answer at all is the answer of peace.

In Jesus’ name.

WAITING IS OVER — IT’S TIME FOR YOU TO CROSS OVER - There comes a moment when waiting is obedience—and there comes a moment when staying where you are becomes disobedience.
Israel stood at the edge of the Jordan after years in the wilderness. Behind them was everything they had survived. Before them was everything God had promised.
And then God spoke:
“Arise, go over this Jordan.” — Joshua 1:2
In other words: The waiting is over. Move.
There are seasons when God tells you to be still. There are seasons when He tells you to wait. There are seasons when He develops you in obscurity, heals you in hidden places, and prepares you where nobody can see.
But preparation is not your permanent address.
Eventually, God says, “Get up. Cross over.”
Some of you have been asking God to open something He has already opened. You have been asking for another confirmation when Heaven has already given you instruction. You have been praying for permission to enter something God has already placed before you.
The next chapter will not be entered merely by waiting.
It will require movement.
You cannot cross a river by staring at it.
You cannot possess territory by studying it from the opposite bank.
You cannot enter the new while continually negotiating with the old.
There comes a moment when faith must put its feet in the water.
That moment is now.

THE LORD IS SAYING
“My child, you have waited long enough at the edge of what I promised you.
You thought the delay meant denial, but I was developing you.
You thought nothing was happening, but I was preparing you for what you prayed for.
I was strengthening your character before increasing your territory.
I was healing places in you that could not accompany you into your next season.
I was teaching you discernment.
I was teaching you endurance.
I was teaching you boundaries.
I was teaching you how to hear My voice above the voices surrounding you.
But now I am changing your posture.
Yesterday required patience.
Today requires movement.
Do not continue standing where I told you to cross.
Do not keep asking Me to resurrect seasons I have already completed.
Do not carry wilderness thinking into promised territory.
The river before you is not evidence that I have abandoned you. It is an invitation to trust Me differently.
Put your feet into the water.
I will meet your obedience with My power.
There are things I will reveal after you move.
There are people you will meet after you move.
There are resources that will appear after you move.
There are doors you will recognize only after you move.
You will not receive every detail before your first step.
Your obedience will unlock revelation for the next step.
Cross over.
The waiting is over.”

MENTAL HEALTH REVELATIONS
Waiting seasons can train us so thoroughly in survival that when the opportunity finally comes, we struggle to transition into movement.
You can become psychologically accustomed to postponement.
You can become comfortable saying:
“Someday.”
“When everything is perfect.”
“When I feel completely ready.”
“When everybody agrees.”
“When I have more money.”
“When I have more confidence.”
“When there is no risk.”
But there may never be a moment when every variable aligns perfectly.
Faith is not the absence of uncertainty. Faith is obedience in the presence of uncertainty because you trust the One leading you.
Crossing over requires a different mindset from surviving the wilderness.
The wilderness asks, “How do I make it through today?”
The promised land asks, “What am I responsible to build?”
The wilderness develops endurance.
The promised land requires stewardship.
The wilderness teaches dependence.
The promised land requires responsibility.
The wilderness may have required you to survive attacks.
The next season may require you to build while remaining vigilant.
That is why God often transforms us before He transforms our territory.
The person who prayed for the promise must develop the capacity to steward the promise.
And sometimes the final weight you must drop is the identity you developed while surviving.
You are not only the person who survived.
You are becoming the person who builds.
You are not only recovering.
You are advancing.
You are not only waiting.
You are crossing over.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
I declare that my waiting season will not become my permanent identity.
I declare that I will recognize when God changes His instruction from “wait” to “move.”
I will not allow fear to disguise itself as wisdom.
I will not require perfect circumstances before obeying God.
I release relationships, habits, mindsets, wounds, and expectations that cannot cross with me.
I refuse to carry yesterday’s survival mentality into tomorrow’s territory.
I have been prepared for this moment.
My wilderness was not wasted.
My tears were not wasted.
My obedience was not wasted.
My hidden years were not wasted.
God has developed strength in places where I once carried weakness.
I have greater discernment.
I have greater endurance.
I have greater wisdom.
I have greater capacity.
I will move when God says move.
I will stop circling what God has commanded me to enter.
I will stop mourning doors God closed to protect my destiny.
I will not return to familiar bo***ge simply because unfamiliar freedom requires courage.
My feet are moving forward.
My eyes are fixed on Jesus.
My heart is aligned with Heaven.
The waiting is over.
By faith, I am crossing over.

10 HEAVENLY WHISPERS
1. “You are not behind. I was preparing you.”
2. “Do not mistake preparation for abandonment.”
3. “The courage you need will meet you in motion.”
4. “Stop asking yesterday for permission to enter tomorrow.”
5. “Some waters will not part until your feet move.”
6. “What you survived taught you how to steward what is coming.”
7. “You do not need everyone to understand the instruction I gave you.”
8. “Leave the wilderness mentality in the wilderness.”
9. “I am already present on the other side of what frightens you.”
10. “The waiting is over. Take My hand and cross over.”

PRAYER
Father, thank You for every season of preparation. Thank You for protecting me when I did not understand the delay. Thank You for developing my character, strengthening my endurance, exposing my weaknesses, healing my wounds, and teaching me to recognize Your voice.
Today I surrender every attachment to the season that is ending.
Give me courage to move when You say move.
I refuse to allow fear, familiarity, disappointment, rejection, or previous failure to determine my future.
Show me what cannot cross over with me.
If there are mindsets I must release, expose them.
If there are habits I must change, strengthen me.
If there are relationships I must reposition, give me wisdom.
If there are responsibilities I must embrace, give me courage.
I will not worship comfort.
I will not idolize certainty.
I will follow You.
Jesus, lead me across every Jordan standing between preparation and promise.
I put my feet in the water.
I take the next obedient step.
The waiting is over. I am crossing over with You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

SCRIPTURES TO ANCHOR

Joshua 1:2–3 — “Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them… Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you, just as I promised to Moses.”
Joshua 3:13 — “And when the soles of the feet of the priests bearing the ark of the LORD… shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off from flowing.”
Deuteronomy 1:6–7 — “The LORD our God said to us in Horeb, ‘You have stayed long enough at this mountain. Turn and take your journey…’”
Isaiah 43:18–19 — “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing… I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

The Threshing Floor

Part 1

The Altar of Separation, Purification, and Worship

"His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly cleanse His threshing floor."
Matthew 3:12

There are seasons in the Kingdom of God when the Lord moves in extraordinary ways among His people. Seasons when He accelerates His work of preparation, bringing His Church into deeper maturity, greater holiness, and renewed intimacy with Himself.

I believe we have entered such a season—a spiritual season of the threshing floor.

It is a prophetic place of divine separation, purification, surrender, and worship. It is where the harvest is gathered, where the wheat is separated from the chaff, and where the hidden value within the grain is revealed.

The Lord teaches that the farmer knows precisely how and when to thresh his grain. Likewise, God knows exactly how to work within the lives of His people. His dealings are never random, nor are they without purpose. Every shaking, every refining, and every season of testing serves a divine purpose in bringing forth a mature harvest.

✨ The Wind of Separation

John the Baptist prophesied of Christ
"His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly cleanse His threshing floor and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire." Matthew 3:12

On the threshing floor, harvested grain was tossed into the air where the wind would separate the valuable wheat from the worthless chaff. The heavier grain would fall back to the floor, while the lighter chaff would be carried away.

What a picture of the work of the Holy Spirit.

The Lord is releasing a fresh winnowing wind upon His Church. The Breath of God is blowing across His people, revealing what is eternal and removing what is temporary. Motives are being tested. Hidden things are being shown. Structures built upon flesh are being shaken so that only what has been established by God remains.

The threshing floor is not a place of rejection; it is a place of preparation. God never removes in order to destroy. He removes in order to reveal.
The wheat is preserved.
The harvest is protected.

The purpose of the threshing floor is not loss but fruitfulness.

✨ The Breaking of the Husk

Before the grain could be used, the outer husk had to be broken. This process speaks prophetically of the breaking of the flesh. The flesh represents everything within us that resists the rule and reign of Christ—self-will, pride, independence, and reliance upon our own understanding. These things often cling tightly to us, much like the husk clings to the grain.

Yet God, in His mercy, brings us into seasons where the outer shell is broken so that the true life of Christ emerges. The breaking process is seldom comfortable, but it is always necessary.
The Lord desires the life of Christ to be fully formed within us. Christ in us!

As the husk falls away, the purity of the grain is revealed. As self decreases, Christ increases.

The threshing floor is a place where identity is refined and character is strengthened.

✨ The Altar of Worship

The threshing floor is closely connected with worship.

David understood this principle when he purchased the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
"I will not offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God with that which costs me nothing."
1 Chronicles 21:24

David built an altar upon the threshing floor, and there the fire of God fell.
This reveals an important spiritual truth:
The threshing floor and the altar belong together.
True worship is not merely the singing of songs. Worship is the surrender of one's life upon the altar of God.
It is the place where we lay down our ambitions, our opinions, and our desires before the King.

"Not my will, but Yours be done."

The threshing floor is therefore a place of complete surrender.
It is where worship becomes sacrifice.
It is where sacrifice becomes obedience.
And where obedience produces intimacy with God.

✨ The Last-Days Shaking

A great shaking before the fullness of God's purposes are revealed.

The Lord is shaking everything that can be shaken so that what remains will be established upon an unshakable foundation.

Many are witnessing unprecedented changes across nations, governments, economies, and even within the Church itself. Yet amidst the shaking, God is establishing a people who remain steadfast and immovable.
"The righteous shall never be shaken."
Psalm 55:22

The threshing floor is part of this divine process.
The shaking is not evidence that God has abandoned His people. Rather, it is evidence that He is preparing them. Every movement of His hand is aimed at bringing forth a purified Bride and a mature harvest.

✨ The Promise of Harvest

Although the threshing floor speaks of separation and refinement, it ultimately points toward the harvest.

"Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord, "when the plowman shall overtake the reaper." Amos 9:13

The Lord is preparing an abundant harvest unlike any seen before. The separation of wheat from chaff is not the final destination. The harvest is!

The refining is making room for increase. The purification is preparing a people capable of carrying greater glory.

The threshing floor precedes the storehouse.
The breaking precedes the blessing.
The altar precedes the outpouring.

✨ A People Prepared

The Lord is calling His people back to the threshing floor.
Back to the place of humility.
Back to the place of surrender.
Back to the place where genuine worship is born.

As the Wind of the Holy Spirit blows across the Church, everything that hinders fruitfulness is being removed. The husk is being broken. The chaff is being carried away. The fire upon the altar is burning fervently!

God is preparing a people who will worship Him in spirit and in truth.
A people whose lives have been refined by His presence.
A people who carry His glory and reflect Him in All things.

The Body of Christ is transitioning into greater Kingdom transformation!

The wind is blowing. The winnowing has begun. And the greater harvest is drawing near!
