For years, Don't Ask, Don't Tell prevented gay, le***an, and bisexual Americans from serving our country and sent the message that discrimination on the basis of sexuality was not only okay, but legally mandated.

That changed in 2011, when the Don't Ask, Don't Tell Repeal was officially implemented under President Barack Obama.
We salute the brave LGBTQ+ soldiers who dedicated their time to serving our country, and we stand with you in Pride and Solidarity.

Lanus JD joined TN State Rep. and congressional candidate Justin J. Pearson for Congress, the Tennessee Democratic Party's nominee in their redrawn 9th District. After Louisiana vs. Callais, the TN-GOP carved up Memphis’s Black-majority district.

It is a reminder that what happens to Black representation in Louisiana can echo across the South. But across the South, the People are organizing and demanding, “NO MORE SILENCE!” Let’s go, blue!
