Super excited to celebrate the announcement of the future home of the Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Institute!

This multi-million-dollar investment marks a significant step forward in expanding access to advanced cancer care for patients and families across Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and the Gulf South.

The dedicated facility will bring specialized treatment, support services, and care teams together to provide a more connected, compassionate healthcare experience.

🎨 We were honored to be invited to witness the installation of the new mural at the Scotlandville Branch Library as Phase 2 of its major renovation nears completion.

Inspired by local artist and professor Randell Henry's original painting, Royal March Into the City, the mural welcomes visitors into the Black Heritage Room and celebrates the rich history, culture, and artistry of the Scotlandville community.

It's always a privilege to highlight projects that enrich our local communities and preserve the stories that make Baton Rouge so special.

🌊 We were honored to attend the official launch of Love Our Waterways, Louisiana's first statewide waterway litter cleanup initiative! 💙

We enjoyed hearing from Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser; Dr. Cade Brumley, Louisiana State Superintendent of Education; Susan Russell, Executive Director of Keep Louisiana Beautiful; and Beaux Jones, President and CEO of The Water Institute, as they shared the importance of protecting Louisiana's rivers, lakes, bayous, and shorelines for future generations.

This September, volunteers across Louisiana are invited to get involved by participating in local waterway cleanups and helping preserve the natural beauty that makes our state so special.
