A little behind the scenes with the girls who make Flora, Flora. 🌿

It drops off like a cliff.

The client wanted outdoor entertaining. The site wanted to fall away. And the whole area sits in a flood plain, so nothing we built could alter the way water moves through the watershed.

So we brought in an engineer. Six feet tall, six feet out — a cantilevered wall, rebar-reinforced, poured in place. Thirty-five loads of earth behind it, compacted and leveled.

The patio comes next. Then room enough to throw a football.
