Celebrating local author, Paul Derouselle, II, and his debut book, Faith, Failure, and Football at the Juneteenth Book talk and book signing. This event was curated by Imagination Leads and moderated by our Executive Director, Erika Green.

Imagination Leads celebrates and honors our 2026 Scholarship Recipient, Tyler Houston. He will be graduating this week from Liberty Magnet High School; and attending Southern University A&M College in the fall.

He will be honored at our College Tour Meeting in June.

Imagination Leads presents a Juneteenth Book Talk with Paul Derousselle, II. He will discuss his debut book, Faith, Failure, and Football with Judge Erika Green on June 6th at 2pm. This event is held at the John B. Cade Library.

Mr. Derousselle details his professional and faith journey as an Attorney and Sports Agent. He also gives game changing details of his personal life’s defeats and victories.

Imagination Leads celebrates and honors our 2026 Scholarship Recipient, Kamryn McKinnis. She will be graduating from Jehovah Jireh Academy; and attending Tulane University in the fall.

We celebrated with her at her Decision Day event last week.

Our Board Vice President, Dasiny Davis, stopped in to the Author’s On Tour event and met some authors and host committee.

We are happy to promote literacy and host the Hospitality Room .

Yesterday, we participated in the Author’s Meet and Greet for the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority’s Arts & Letters Commission - Delta’s Author’s on Tour.

Each author brings different penmanship and is worth learning about. Come out today at noon for a free literature event and book talk with 6 inspiring women.
