During these swelteringly hot Louisiana summers, it's important to know if your medication causes greater heat sensitivity and what you can do to prevent heat stroke or dehydration. Many common psychiatric medications can contribute to heat sensitivity.

True Colors starts next week! It is a virtual support group for LGBTQIA+ teens (12-17) to connect through conversation, art, music, and more. We meet every other Friday at 4pm starting July 10th. $25 per session. Email [email protected] to learn more or to sign up!

April is Autism Acceptance Month. You may also see it referred to as Autism Awareness Month, but organizations like The Autistic Self-Advocacy Network say that what the community really needs is acceptance, not awareness.
Acceptance means adapting, advocacting, and embracing - not trying to change or "fix".
