When I shoot Senior pictures I keep in my the 3 S’s: Smile, Serious, and Silliness.

It’s important to try to capture how they are in this transitional point in time, offer some variety, and show off some personality.

I have ways of pulling candid moments out of them that practically always work. And those often make the most treasured photos.

The first one features my neighbors and my daughter in it.

That day of the mountain bike shoot from Bogue Chitto State Park happened to be the day of my Bachelor party right before my wedding and my little brother was in town to assist me on the shoot. Those trails out there are next level.

Spending a day with John Folse at his White Oak Estate and Gardens and hearing the stories about his career was a real treat.

And lastly going down to the coast on a story about the ongoing efforts to mitigate Coastal Erosion was an adventure.

That’s one of the major benefits of doing what I do is the access - meeting people I rarely would get to meet, going through doors most people don’t get to go, and learning about other people’s jobs keeps the days never boring.

She was a client first and then I became her client when I joined her Localpreneur Academy. It’s mostly geared towards women owned small businesses but I was welcomed in. I took one Marketing 101 class in college and that was the extent of my formal business training going into starting my own business in 2021 so I turned to Leslie for some help.
