Happy Raspberry Sweets

It really has been just a beautiful, sunny fall day today. And I'm loving seeing the colors changing this time of year. I feel this sprinkle set captures all those colors perfectly!

Spring time in fall, yeah I'm cool with that combo when it comes to these beautiful cupcakes. 🥰

Everyone makes mistakes, myself included.

This cake is actually done almost exactly like the example photo that was sent to me by the client. And that's the problem....
Even though I had it noted down that we were switching the colors of the cake (pink base with white bows instead of white base with pink bows), I looked at the example photo and completely lost the change in colors. As soon as I realized my mistake after sending the photos to the client I was already prepping to fix it, but the client was very kind and understanding and still enjoyed the cake as is.

This is just a reminder that it's a real human here behind this business, a mom of two just trying to share her baking skills with her community and not some big corporate business that you'll never put a face to. Thank you all for your constant support, even when a mishap comes along. It shows how much heart we all have here.

So yesterday with the flash giveaway, a follower had commented for some of the cupcakes and I instantly recognized the name. This person had actually reached out the night before because the cake they ordered for their kiddo had been canceled last minute. Thankfully I had just a few extra cupcakes that hadn't been frosted (and also some extra buttercream) and was able to whip up something special for her kiddo for their birthday.

I can't always take order request on very short notice, but sometimes I can still make things happen to keep the day special. Like adding some Pokémon themed sprinkles to a few extra cupcakes so a little kid still has a special day and mom gets a win.

It's been a Monday hasn't it?! Well what better way to end the start of your week than with FREE cupcakes!

That's right, completely free! I have a dozen cupcakes leftover from an order yesterday and decided to spread some joy for the start of the week for two lucky followers. I have 6 red velvet and 6 chocolate cupcakes available, and they will go in two sets of 6 to two different people.

The catch? You must be willing and able to pickup this evening or tomorrow (Tuesday) before 3pm. Pickup is near 185th and Walker in Beaverton. I'll give folks about an hour to comment their request for them and then start choosing two winners (picking around 6:15PM).
