⭐️The Program for Intellectual Empowerment and their Unified Art Studio is seeking support to continue to offer an inclusive, welcoming environment where everyone belongs. The Unified Art Studio exists because we believe creativity should be accessible to everyone.
Every day, we welcome individuals of all abilities into a safe, encouraging space where they can create, build friendships, gain confidence, and simply enjoy being themselves. Many of the families we serve face financial challenges and often have to choose between paying for essentials and participating in enriching activities.
Through the generosity of community partners, we can keep our programs affordable and often free, so no one is left out because of cost.

⭐️Thank you all for your hard work. For going above and beyond! Thank you for showing up for some really hard days.. and for caring deeply about each client. Supporting each individual to be successful and supporting them to be more independent. Giving each client purpose ⭐️

⭐️ This year was full of weekly movie theatre trips, Great Wolf Lodge over night trips, beach trips, volunteering, bowling, college courses, building resumes, working, learning (always learning), shopping, arcades, golfing, markets, sports, swimming, trampoline parks, cooking and baking, singing, dancing, art, and more .. our clients and PIE appreciate you! 🫶

Program for Intellectual Empowerment - Since 2018, Pauline and her team at the Program for Intellectual Empowerment (PIE) have been doing so much more than just providing a service; they’ve been building a bridge. By creating a warm, creative space where individuals with autism and developmental disabilities can truly be themselves, Pauline has turned "inclusion" from a buzzword into a reality. Whether she is championing her students in the classroom or advocating for a more empathetic community at large, her approach focuses on what people can do, fostering self-expression and connection in a way that helps everyone thrive. PIE deserves to be Nonprofit of the Year because Pauline doesn’t just fill a gap in support; she creates a village where neurodivergent and neurotypical neighbors learn, grow, and celebrate one another side-by-side.
